The Psychology Education Major is a part of the Social Studies Education Program.
This major follows the requirements of a Psychology B.A. major, plus
additional courses in social sciences, history, and education. It also
includes a student teaching semester. Upon completion, you are eligible
for teaching history and social studies at the secondary schools in
Delaware.
Please check their website for up-to-date information about this major and its requirements. View the Psychology Education B.A. degree checklist.
We recommend that Psychology Education B.A. majors also complete a History minor, so you are better prepared to teach history classes at the secondary
school level.
