​I am a neuroscience master’s student in the Mende-Siedlecki Lab studying social perception. Currently, my research focuses on perception of internal states (e.g., sadness and pain) as a function of target race and gender appearance and identity. Additionally, I am interested in the ways in which trauma and stress contribute to mental health and well-being, as well as the internal, societal, relationship experiences of people who identify within minority groups (primarily the LGBTQ+ community).​​​
