Biography
I graduated with my Bachelor's degree from the University of Toledo in Spring of 2022. Broadly, my research examines psychosocial predictors of health behavior and outcomes, with a specific focus on the roles that affect, exclusion, and sociality influence healthcare accessibility for marginalized, namely intersectional, populations. Since I started developing my research interests, I have increasingly become drawn to research around how belonging impacts health and risk, as well as predictors of health behaviors. Close relationships, in particular, have a significant impact on health and social well-being and can exacerbate structural public health issues like racism and misogyny. My interdisciplinary work seeks to merge my research interests with antiracist and intersectional feminist advocacy in an applied research model.
