    Biography

My research focuses on how adversity, attachment, and parenting in infancy impact children's peer relations in middle childhood. As a graduate student in the Attachment and Biobehavioral Catch-Up (ABC) Lab, I am involved with several projects evaluating the effects of the ABC intervention, which was developed to help neglecting parents learn to provide nurturance, respond in sensitive ways, and reduce frightening behaviors. I have clinical experience providing evidence-based treatments to parents and young children and children coping with complex medical conditions.
