University wide resources

Beyond academic advising within the Psychology department, the university provides a wide range of resources for students.

The Graduate and Undergraduate Catalog

The Catalog contains academic policies, regulations, and procedures; a listing and description of all courses; descriptions of degree requirements; and lists of faculty and administrators. This is the place to look if you have questions such as:

What are the graduation requirements for my University, College, and Major?

What are the breadth requirements?

What courses count for the multicultural requirement?

Can I transfer a course?
Can I take a course pass-fail?

Academic Regulations for Undergraduates page of the catalog will answer most of your questions about general academic requirements.

The Registration Booklet (print version) and Courses Search (online version)

The print version of the registration booklet is available every semester, a week or so before advance registration begins.  It lists the course schedules for each semester's class professors, meeting times, and rooms.  Courses Search presents the same information online, with the benefit of seeing up to the minute course enrollments, cancellations, or additions.  Use these resources when you are wondering:

When is this course offered this semester?

Are there other sections that might fit my schedule?

Who's teaching this semester?
