Faculty Director of Advising

Dr. Morling is the director of advising.  You can meet with her to discuss special problems in your psychology major or minor.  She does not usually meet individually with students to answer general questions about major requirements, scheduling, and registration (for that, it's better to see the assistant director of advising or the peer advising staff).

Dr. Morling can advise you on:

Transfer courses - after you read this first!

Career options in psychology - after you visit the career section of this web site

Graduate school options in psychology - after you visit the graduate school section of this web site

Courses or experiences that will enhance your psychology education

Faculty Advisors

All students will be assigned to a faculty advisor. However, for help with your schedule each semester, see the peer advisors or the assistant director.

If your advisor is Dr DiLorenzo:

Office hours are:

Mondays 1:30 to 2:30

Tuesdays 9 to 10

Wednesdays 11 to 12

Faculty Mentors

Juniors or Seniors who are interested in seeking career advice or pursuing doctoral level programs are strongly encouraged to foster relationships with faculty mentors in their area of interest. These mentoring relationships are informal, but can be extremely important in shaping your career plans. You can click here to go to a page where you will select a mentor. You can also get involved in faculty research.
