Cognitive Science Program

The Program in Cognitive Science draws on faculty and courses from Computer and Information Sciences, Linguistics, Philosophy, Psychology, the School of Education, and the Applied Science and Engineering Laboratories of the A.I. duPont Children's Hospital. At the undergraduate level, there is a minor in Cognitive Science administered by the Department of Linguistics, plus the opportunity to pursue individualized degrees in Cognitive and Linguistic Science, and Pre-Professional Speech Science. At the Ph.D. level, Linguistics in Cognitive Science is one of two major emphases in the Department's Doctoral program.
